Since the 19th century, the Yoruba people of the Western part of Nigeria have found themselves forced into a political and economic union with another set of peoples with whom they have absolutely nothing in common.

Towards the end of the 19th century, the British unilaterally terminated the Yoruba Empire which had been in existence for centuries and which actually spread from East to West and North to South of the African continent. Culturally famous and politically very influential.

The British coercively and cunningly annexed the alien region called the Northern region into a territory that they called the Southern Protectorate. The ‘protectorate’ designation was not for the benefit of the Yoruba people but was a device to protect the British lucrative commercial interests in Yorubaland.

In 1914, the British disrespectfully and unilaterally amalgamated the Yoruba region into the country called Nigeria, being the result of the Southern Protectorate and the Northern Protectorate that they had previously and dubiously established to loot using their appointed agents from the alien regional territories with which Yoruba were illegally annexed .

The British introduced separate governance for the two protectorates in their recognition of the fact that the Yoruba had nothing in common with those other peoples in the two aligned territories.

Third, in the 1950s during various consultations regarding independence, the leaders of the various ethnic groups in Nigeria made very clear to the British their desire to go their separate ways. Indeed, the Yoruba leaders were opposed to the idea of one country. The British refused to grant independence unless the ethnic leaders agreed to form one country. Therefore, the parties were forced to agree to a federation of autonomous, self-governing regions with separate constitutions.
In 1966, the Nigeria army committed a crime against the state when they assassinated the elected leader of the Yoruba and abolished the self-governing Western Region of Nigeria, the home of the Yoruba. The action automatically terminated a so-called agreed Federation as the Military took over governance. Nigeria has since been dubiously managed from behind the scene in a wicked indirect rule, which has since suppressed, subjugated and deprived the Yoruba people the right to emancipation and development. All governmental discharges and initiates have since been controlled by the Fulani who have stylishly destroyed all fabrics of real existence in Yorubaland.

In 1999, the Nigeria North-dominated military foisted on the Yorubas, a constitution that was neither negotiated nor agreed with the Yoruba people. The scheme was used to dictate and dominate the Yorubas, arresting their own destiny and creating for the Yoruba Kingdom of Nations a path to global name extinction, retrogression, degradation, subjugation, subdue and arresting of destined glory.

However, it should be noted that between 1966 and 1999, the Nigeria army abolished the rule of law and embarked on a dictatorship governed with utmost impunity, suppressing the developmental initiative of the Yoruba people.

The constitution has since been foisted and acted upon as the determinant of governmental discharges. It is needful to mention that a few Southerners were incorporated in the military dictatorship which has firmly held down the destiny of the Yoruba people, exhibition.

Yoruba now wishes to establish her own country, the Yoruba Nation and wishes that our issues should be taken up with membership of the United Nations (UN) who shares the same ideological identity with Yoruba people

HOW WE GOT HERE

HOW WE GOT HERE AS YORUBA PEOPLE:

Yorubas were self-independent before the arrival of the Europeans with a self-rule system that surpassed any existing system in Europe. In 1914, There was a faulty or falsified amalgamation which put the South and North of Nigeria in a protectorate lasting 100 years. The merged protectorate treaty expired in 2014 leaving Nigeria as currently illegal in existence.

There is also a military constitution which puts all populations in a cage of a Hausa-Fulani military Cabal dominance and makes the Yorubas a suppressed race inside Nigeria. Yet Yoruba people own a larger part of all the resources powering Nigeria as a nation with much of the assets that Yorubas had when it existed as a sovereign nation hijacked and taken over by the cabal government controlled underground by the Europeans.

The current Nigerian government and those pasts have also been stooges and proxies of the West.

THE DANGERS ON HANG:

4. We score first in Africa in Technology, Law, Science, culture etc

5. Today, we are the leading models in sports but we are never featured in events as a result of the conspired and continued marginalisation and destruction of Yoruba people and race.

HOPE FOR AFRICA
